Silent Maritime Inc. was founded by Raj Budhabhatti — a 40-year veteran of defense UAV engineering, embedded systems, motor control, and autopilot integration. For the past 12 years, driven purely by personal obsession with ocean robotics, Raj has been designing and testing personal submarines, including ocean trials in Hawaii. The SM-300 is the product-grade evolution of that work.

Silent Maritime is not a software company that decided underwater drones sound interesting. Every subsystem of the SM-300 — the power electronics, the BMS, the autopilot integration, the pressure hull, the thruster control — was designed and built by hand, in a home lab, without external funding. That is our foundation.
